This double sided pendant represents the Ashtamangala, a group of eight auspicious symbols used as teaching tools in Buddhism and other Eastern religions. In Buddhism the various symbols represent the divine attributes of Buddha, including awakening, unity, breath and purity. The symbols themselves are popular themes in households and art.
