Instructions

Step 1: Use 5" of Red Coral wire and 5" of White Quartz wire to string 1 2x2mm crimp tube, 1 red velvet crystal round, 1 lampworked glass disc, and 1 red velvet crystal round. Pass through the crimp tube again, forming a loop of wire about 34mm, and crimp using Crimping Pliers.  Click here for crimping instructions. Cover the tube with a crimp cover.

Step 2: Use 5" of Red Coral wire and 5" of White Quartz wire to string 1 2x2mm crimp tube, 1 red velvet crystal round, the previous lampworked glass disc, 1 red velvet crystal round, 1 lampworked glass disc, and 1 red velvet crystal round. Pass through the crimp tube again, forming a loop of wire about 34mm, and crimp. Cover the tube with a crimp cover. Repeat entire step twice.

Step 3: Use 5" of Red Coral wire and 5" of White Quartz wire to string 1 2x2mm crimp tube, 1 red velvet crystal round, the previous lampworked glass disc, and 1 red velvet crystal round. Pass through the crimp tube again, forming a loop of wire about 34mm, and crimp. Cover the tube with a crimp cover.

Step 4: Use three 20" strands of Dark Blue Lapis to string the first Red Coral and White Quartz wire loop formed to the center of the wires, making sure to place the Dark Blue Lapis wire between the crimp cover and the first red velvet crystal round strung. Use all six ends of wire to string one 3x3mm crimp tube. Place the crimp tube just above the Red Coral and White Quartz wire loop, and crimp using Mighty Crimping Pliers.

Step 5: Use two strands of wire to string one 2x2mm crimp tube, 1 red velvet crystal round, 1 crystal barrel, 1 red velvet crystal round, and one 2x2mm crimp tube. Place the first tube strung 3/4" from the previous crimp tube, and crimp. Snug the beads and crimp the second tube. Use one wire to string 2 crystal bicones. Use the other wire to string 2 crystal bicones. Use both wires to string one 2x2mm crimp tube, 1 red velvet crystal round, 1 crystal AB rondelle, 1 red velvet crystal round, and one 2x2mm crimp tube. Place the first tube strung 1 1/2" from the previous crimp tube, and crimp. Snug the beads and crimp the second tube. Use one wire to string 2 crystal bicones. Use the other wire to string 2 crystal bicones. Use two strands of wire to string one 2mm crimp tube, 1 red velvet crystal round, 1 crystal barrel, 1 red velvet crystal round, and one 2x2mm crimp tube. Place the first tube strung 1 1/2" from the previous crimp tube, and crimp. Snug the beads and crimp the second tube.

Step 6: Use two strands of wire to string one 2x2mm crimp tube, 1 red velvet crystal round, 1 crystal AB rondelle, 1 red velvet crystal round, and one 2x2mm crimp tube. Place the first tube strung 1 3/4" from the previous crimp tube, and crimp. Snug the beads and crimp the second tube. Use one wire to string 2 crystal bicones. Use the other wire to string 2 crystal bicones. Use two strands of wire to string one 2x2mm crimp tube, 1 red velvet crystal round, 1 crystal barrel, 1 red velvet crystal round, and one 2x2mm crimp tube. Place the first tube strung 2" from the previous crimp tube, and crimp. Snug the beads and crimp the second tube. Use one wire to string 2 crystal bicones. Use the other wire to string 2 crystal bicones. Use both wires to string one 2x2mm crimp tube, 1 red velvet crystal round, 1 crystal AB rondelle, 1 red velvet crystal round, and one 2x2mm crimp tube. Place the first tube strung 1 1/4" from the previous crimp tube, and crimp. Snug the beads and crimp the second tube.

Step 7: Repeat Step 6 using the remaining two wires.

Step 8: Use all six wires to string one 3x3mm crimp tube. Place the tube so it is 1/2" from the previous crimp tube. Pass back through the tube, leaving a 1/2" loop of wire, and crimp.

Step 9: Repeat Steps 4-7 for the other half of the necklace.

Step 10: Use all six wires to string one 3x3mm crimp tube and the Believe/Star clasp. Place the tube so it is 1/2" from the previous crimp tube. Pass back through the tube and crimp.

Instructions

Finished Size: 3 1/2"

Step 1: Attach 1 eye pin to 1 ear wire. Use the eye pin to string 1 fire-polished round, the first hole of 1 window bead, 1 pressed-glass bead, the second hole of the window bead, and 1 fire-polished round. Form a  wire wrapped loop.

Step 2: Use 4" of Red Coral wire to string the wire wrapped loop formed in Step 1. Use both ends of the Red Coral wire to string one 2x2mm crimp tube. Push the tube up toward the wire wrapped loop until there is a small loop of wire remaining, and crimp using Crimping Pliers.  Click here for crimping instructions. Cover the tube with a crimp cover. *Use one end of the wire to string 1 pressed-glass bead and 1 micro crimp. Place the bead in its desired location on the wire and crimp using Micro Crimping Pliers. Repeat from * for the other end of the wire.


Step 3: Repeat Step 3 using 3 1/2" of Dark Blue Lapis wire.

Step 4: Repeat Step 3 using 3" of White Quartz wire.

Step 5: Repeat Steps 1-4 to make the second earring.

Firecracker Bracelet by Jamie Hogsett

Step 1: Unwind a long length of wire from each spool. Hold the White Quartz and the Blue Topaz wires together and use both wires to string all of the glass beads.

Step 2: Pass the ends of the wire down through the hole in the knitting spool, making sure there are a few inches of wire to hold beneath the spool.

Step 3: Wrap the wire clockwise completely around the first peg, then move counterclockwise to the next peg. Repeat for the remaining pegs, then wrap the wire around the outside of the first peg.

Step 4: Being knitting and knit 16 stitches of wire, no beads.

Step 5: String 1 bead up between the two pegs and knit 1 stitch. Knit 10 stitches of wire.

Step 6: Repeat step 5 fourteen times.

Step 7: Knit 16 stitches of wire, no beads.

Step 8: Finish off by weaving the ends of the wire through all of the loops and then popping the loops off of the spool.

Step 9: Use both wires on one end of the bracelet to string 1 crimp tube. Snug the tube down to the end of the knitted portion and crimp. Cut the tail end of the Blue Topaz wire only. Use the remaining White Quartz wire to string 1 cone, 1 crimp tube, and one half of the clasp. Pass back through the tube, make sure the cone is snug over the end of the knitted wire, and crimp.  Click here for crimping instructions. Cover the tube with a crimp cover. Repeat entire step for the other end of the bracelet.

Instructions

Step 1: Cut approximately 7" or 8" of Soft Flex .019 wire from the spool. String one sterling silver crimp tube, then one side of your toggle, and then put the wire back through the crimp. Secure using crimping pliers.  Click here for crimping instructions. Cut off excess wire using Flush Cutters.

Step 2: String beads in the following order: Sterling Silver Round Bead, Red Furnace Glass Bead, Sterling Silver Round Bead, White Furnace Beads, Sterling Silver Round Bead, Blue Furnace Glass Bead. Continue stringing in that order until desired length of bracelet is achieved, ending the design with a Sterling Silver Round Bead.

Step 3: String 1 sterling silver crimp tube on wire, through the other end of the toggle, then back through the crimp. Pull the wire tight, but with enough slack for wire to move around using bent nose pliers. Secure crimp using crimping pliers. Cut off excess wire using Flush Cutters.
