Bead Embroidery & Dia de los Muertos Jewelry (TGBE)
Sara and Kristen opened our TGBE Fall Fest 2024 Dia De Los Muertos Design Kit. This kit contained everything you need to make lots of handmade jewelry, you just need a pair of crimping pliers and cutters to finish your designs. We added thread to this kit as a design element and Kristen demonstrated how to made a beaded embroidery pendant or earrings piece.

On Free Spirit Beading with Kristen Fagan, we had a TGBE Fall Fest wrap up chat, finished up the bead embroidery pieces and completed Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) jewelry projects from the Beading Design Kit!

How To Do Bead Embroidery (Beaded Moth Design) | Craftcation Discussion
This is the beaded moth Kristen started at Craftcation. Craftcation is a 5-day life-changing annual craft event that is equal parts beach-side getaway, business conference, makers fest and wellness retreat. Kristen took a bead embroidery class taught by Alyson Toone-Aguilar of Make it Work Crafts. Kristen used seed beads and a bead soup mix of beads that she had on hand, along with a needle and gold colored Miyuki Nylon Beading Thread.

Beaded Embroidery & Necklace (TGBE)
We design our kits so they are simple enough for a beginner but we add challenging elements to make each kit experience exciting for a pro. In this kit, we included Beadwork items to make it memorable. Work outside your comfort zone and make jewelry with products you might not have come across on a shopping trip. We included a beading needle, beading thread, and a mini embroidery hoop.

TGBE Follow Up: How To Make A Necklace To Showcase The Beaded Embroidery Pendant
On Free Spirit Beading, Kristen showed how to make a necklace using beads from our TGBE Arctic Circle Beading Design Kit, .019 Pro Econoflex Hobby Beading Wire in Steel Grey color, and the bead embroidery pendant that she made during our 2025 TGBE Midwinter Market presentation. The pendant was made using the Mini Bead Embroidery Hoop Set that was included in the kit.

How To Embellish A Canvas Painting With Seed Bead Embroidery
Kristen explored how to embellish one of her canvas paintings with seed bead embroidery. She was inspired by our beading buddy Danielle Wickes during a beading party and used curated seed bead color palettes created by Danielle, along with Miyuki Nylon Beading Thread and a needle.

VIB Group Member Embroidery Designs
We gathered a small assortment of embroidery designs from our VIB Facebook group. There were so many wonderful ideas and jewelry projects on our group page. You really need to join our group to see them all. A lot of our members also have stores online. If you see a design you love, make sure you let the designer know. They may sell you that design or at least let you know how they made it. We would love to see your work too, join us today!
VIB is a great place to visit. It is an online bead gathering. It is a place to chat and meet new friends. It is a great way to stay social. You can learn a new tip or technique daily. You can get inspired by the gorgeous jewelry designs other people in the community post. You can also get your own jewelry gently critiqued if you want pointers on how to make your designs really stand out. We love wallflowers and chatty designers alike. Lurk or showcase your talent.
