Instructions
Short necklace (finished size: 18"):
Step 1: Use the head pin to string one 35x25mm Red Jasper oval; form a wire wrapped loop.
Step 2: Use 20" of Citrine wire to string 1 2x2mm crimp tube, 1 Imperial Topaz nugget, 1 spacer, 1 Imperial Topaz nugget, the wire wrapped loop formed in Step 1, 1 Imperial Topaz nugget, 1 spacer, 1 Imperial Topaz nugget, and 1 2x2mm crimp tube. Center the beads on the wire and use crimping pliers to crimp both tubes to hold the beads stationary on the wire.
Step 3: Use one end of wire to string 1 crimp tube. Place the tube 1" from the previous tube and crimp. String 1 Citrine top-drilled nugget, 1 spacer, one 14x10mm Red Jasper oval, 1 spacer, 1 Citrine top-drilled nugget, and 1 crimp tube. Crimp the tube. String 1 crimp tube, place it 1" from the previous tube, and crimp. String {1 Imperial Topaz nugget, 1 spacer, 1 Citrine top-drilled nugget, and 1 spacer} twice. String 1 Imperial Topaz nugget and 1 crimp tube. Crimp the tube. String 1 crimp tube and 1 half of one clasp. Pass back through the tube, making sure the tube is 2 1/2" from the previous tube, and crimp. Repeat entire step for the other end of the wire.
Long necklace (finished size: 26 1/4"):
Step 1: Cut two 14" lengths of each color of wire. Hold all six wires together and fold them in half, making sure not to kink the wire. Use all twelve ends of wire to string the glass bead and the 3x3mm crimp tube. Push the bead and tube up toward the middle of the wires, until there is a loop of wires and about 5/8" from the end of the wires and the bead. Use "Crimper" hole of the Mighty Crimping Pliers to secure the crimp tube onto the group of wires. Do not crimp completely, as the crimp tube might slide through the glass bead.
Step 2: Cut 4" of Red Jasper wire. String one 2x2mm crimp tube. Pass the Red Jasper wire through three of the loops (one loop of each color wire) of the tassel created in Step 4. Pass back through the tube, leaving a loop of wire about 1/4" long, and crimp. String one 35x25mm Red Jasper oval and 1 crimp tube. Pass back through the tube, leaving a loop of wire about 1/4" long, and crimp.
Step 3: Cut 4" of Citrine wire. String one 2x2mm crimp tube. Pass the wire through the previous loop. Pass back through the tube, leaving a loop of wire about 1/4" long, and crimp. String one Citrine 15x20mm rough nugget and 1 crimp tube. Pass back through the tube, leaving a loop of wire about 1/4" long, and crimp.
Step 4: Cut 4" of Imperial Topaz wire. String one 2x2mm crimp tube. Pass the wire through the previous loop. Pass back through the tube, leaving a loop of wire about 1/4" long, and crimp. String 1 Imperial Topaz nugget, the first hole of 1 bead frame, 1 Imperial Topaz nugget, the second hold of the bead frame, 1 Imperial Topaz, and 1 crimp tube. Pass back through the tube, leaving a loop of wire about 1/4" long, and crimp.
Step 5: Repeat Step 5, attaching the loop to the last loop of the previous step. Repeat Step 6. Repeat Step 7, attaching the final loop to one half of one clasp.
Step 6: Repeat Steps 5-9 for the other half of the necklace, using the other three loops of wire in the tassel and attaching the final loop to the other half of the clasp.
