This week on Free Spirit Beading with Kristen Fagan, I used some large crescent metal stamping blanks to make a pair of big, bold, boho swing earrings! I was unsure at first if the crescents were a bit too large for use in earrings, but then I thought too big? Never! Sometimes you just need to show up boldly and these swing style pendulum earrings are perfect for those days. I love how they turned out and hope they inspire you give designing BIG a try!
DIY Boho Beaded Crescent Swing Earrings with Hammered Metal
Make a fabulous pair of over-sized beaded statement earrings! These DIY crescent swing pendulum earrings are extra large and a lot of fun. The textured crescent shape swings from a beaded craft wire frame and closed jump ring.

Soft Flex Craft Wire - 20 Gauge
Soft Flex Silver Plated Craft Wire - 20 Gauge

ImpressArt Multi-Function Texture Hammer
The beaded wire frame connectors are made from 20 (or 22) gauge Soft Flex Craft Wire. The crescent moon shaped metal blanks are hand stamped with a sprinkle texture using the Multi-Function Texture Hammer by ImpressArt.
The extra large size along with the Czech glass bead mix I chose to use gives these earrings an earthy, tribal inspired and bohemian chic vibe. Simply change up the beads or use smaller components and you can achieve a totally different look!
