Instructions

Finished Size: 18 1/2"

Step 1: Use cutters to cut the heads off of five head pins. Use 1 head pin wire to form a wrapped loop that attaches to the top of the snowflake pendant. String 1 emerald bicone, 1 fancy jasper rondelle, and 1 emerald bicone. Form a wrapped loop. Attach one 6mm jump ring to the wrapped loop. Set aside.

Step 2: Use 1 head pin wire to form a wrapped loop. Use the other end of the wire to string 1 Siam bicone, 1 fancy jasper rondelle, and 1 Siam bicone. Form a wrapped loop. Repeat to make a second Siam link. Use 1 head pin wire to form a wrapped loop. Use the other end of the wire to string 1 crystal bicone, 1 fancy jasper rondelle, and 1 crystal bicone. Form a wrapped loop. Repeat to make a second crystal link. Set aside.

Step 3: Use 1 head pin to string 1 emerald bicone, 1 fancy jasper rondelle, and 1 emerald bicone. Form a wrapped loop that attaches to the bottom of the snowflake pendant. Use 1 head pin to string 1 Siam bicone, 1 fancy jasper rondelle, and 1 Siam bicone. Form a wrapped loop that attaches to the bottom left of the snowflake pendant. Use 1 head pin to string 1 crystal bicone, 1 fancy jasper rondelle, and 1 crystal bicone. Form a wrapped loop that attachest o the bottom right of the snowflake pendant.

Step 4: Cut two 2" pieces of Green Emerald wire. Cut two 2" pieces of 24K Gold wire. Cut two 2" pieces of Garnet wire. Using the two holes just above the bottom of the snowflake pendant, use 1 Green Emerald wire to string 1 crimp tube, 1 pendant hole, 1 crystal bicone, 1 pendant hole, and pass through the crimp tube again. Use chain-nose pliers to flatten the tube, and trim the wire ends. Repeat five times, working clockwise around the pendant, using wires in the following order: Garnet, 24K Gold, Green Emerald, Garnet, and 24K Gold. Set aside.

Step 5: Use one 3mm jump ring to attach 1 oval ring to jump ring used in Step 1. *Use one 6mm jump ring to attach one 3mm jump ring and 1 oval ring to the previous oval ring. Repeat from * once. Use one 6mm jump ring to attach the previous oval ring to 1 Siam link. Use one 6mm jump ring to attach the other end of the link to 1 oval ring. Use one 6mm jump ring to attach one 3mm jump ring and 1 oval ring to the previous oval ring. Use one 6mm jump ring to attach the previous oval ring to 1 crystal link. Use one 6mm jump ring to attach the other end of the link to 1 oval ring. *Use one 6mm jump ring to attach one 3mm jump ring and 1 oval ring to the previous oval ring. Repeat from * once.

Step 6: Use 1 head pin to string 1 emerald bicone, 1 fancy jasper rondelle, 1 emerald bicone, 1 fancy jasper rondelle, and 1 emerald bicone. Form a wrapped loop that attaches to the final oval ring used in Step 5.

Step 7: Cut four 5" pieces of 24K Gold wire. Cut four 4" pieces of Green Emerald wire. Cut four 4" pieces of Garnet wire. Cut two 4" pieces of 24K Gold wire. Cut two 3" pieces of Green Emerald wire. Cut two 3" pieces of Garnet wire.

Step 8: Use one 5" piece of 24K Gold wire to string 1 crimp tube and the first 3mm jump ring used in Step 5. Pass back through the tube, wasting as little wire as possible, and crimp.  Click here for crimping instructions. Cover the tube with a crimp cover. Use the other end of the wire to string 1 crimp tube. Place the tube right next to the previous tube and insert one end each of a 4" Green Emerald wire and a 4" Garnet wire into the tube. Crimp the tube and cover with a crimp cover.

Step 9: Use the 24K Gold wire to string 1 crystal bicone. Use the Green Emerald wire to string 1 emerald bicone. Use the Garnet wire to string 1 Siam bicone. Pass all three wires through the next 3mm jump ring.

Step 10: Repeat Step 9.

Step 11: Use the 24K Gold wire to string 1 crystal bicone. Use the Green Emerald wire to string 1 emerald bicone. Use the Garnet wire to string 1 Siam bicone. Use all three wires to string 1 crimp tube. Use the 24K Gold wire to string 1 crimp tube and the 6mm jump ring attached to the Siam link. Pass back through the tube and crimp. Cover the tube with a crimp cover. Adjust the other crimp tube so that it is next to the crimp cover and crimp. Trim the wires and cover the tube with a crimp cover.

Step 12: Repeat Step 8, using one 4" 24K Gold wire and attaching the wire to the 6mm jump ring on the other end of the Siam link. Repeat Step 9. Repeat Step 11, attaching the wire to the jump ring that attaches to the 6mm jump ring attaches to the crystal link.

Step 13: Repeat Step 8, attaching the wire to the 6mm jump ring on the other end of the crystal link. Repeat Steps 9-11, attaching the final wire to the wrapped loop formed in Step 6.

Step 14: Repeat Step 5 for the other half of the necklace. Attach one 6mm jump ring to the final oval ring. Use 6" of 24K Gold wire to string the 6mm jump ring to the center of the wire. Use both ends of the wire to string 1 crimp tube. Snug the tube by the jump ring. Use both ends of wire to pass back through the tube, forming a loop of wire large enough to pass over the first fancy jasper rondelle in the dangle formed in Step 6, but not so large that it will slip off the rondelle. Adjust the wire as necessary and crimp. Cover the tube with a crimp cover.

Step 15: Repeat Steps 8-12. Repeat Step 13, attaching the final wire to the last 6mm jump ring.
