How To Embellish A Pendant With Paint, Apoxie Sculpt & Beads
This week on Free Spirit Beading with Kristen Fagan, I shared how to embellish a pendant with paint, Apoxie Sculpt & beads. I used a pewter magical butterfly pendant from Green Girl Studios and a wooden octopus pendant from Allegory Gallery for my demonstration. We are sold out of Apoxie Sculpt, but you can find more on Christi Friesen's website.
Materials:
Wood Pendant from
Allegory Gallery
Metal Pendant from
Green Girl Studios
Apoxie Sculpt from
ChristiFriesen.com
Ultimate Paints
Beads
Brushes
Tweezer
Gloves
Paper Towels
Here is the wooden pendant from Allegory Gallery. I used blue Apoxie Sculpt to fill the octopus shape, then embedded with beads and used Ultimate Paints on the wood.
Here is the metal butterfly pendant from Green Girl Studios. I used Ultimate Paints on the metal to make this a monarch butterfly.
