How to Make a Square Knot Macramé Bracelet with Soft Flex Wire, Beads and a Button Clasp
This week on Free Spirit Beading with Kristen Fagan, we explore how to macramé using Soft Flex beading wire. We make a beaded square knot macramé bracelet design with Soft Flex beading wire and a button clasp closure.
8mm Fire Polish Beads
Soft Flex beading wire is a great medium for macramé. Especially in conjunction with a Macramé Board. As for the amount of beading wire used, I cut a 24" strand of beading wire, centered it through the button, crimped and used those for the base center wires. I cut another 60" of beading wire for for the knotting wire.
The button clasp adds character and it make the bracelet very easy to slip on and off. Change your beading wire colors, your beads and the button for variations on this design!
