Beading Party With Christi Friesen: Exotic Blooms Kit & Polymer Clay

Sara Oehler had a beading party with Christi Friesen. Christi is an award-winning artist, who works in mixed media. Her work has been showcased in numerous books, magazines, and exhibits. She is the author of over a dozen how-to books on creating with polymer clay. She teaches throughout the world, using humor and positive energy to encourage students to stretch their creativity, technical skills, and artistic confidence.

Christi showed how to create a beautiful round floral frame for a mirror using polymer clay and items from our Exotic Blossoms Design Kit (sold out). While Christi was working on the frame, Sara made two bracelets using .019 Soft Flex Metallics Beading Wire in Antique Brass color.

Inspired by Heather Powers, owner of Humblebeads, I paired up tubes of ceramic beads, but I tied knots between them using Soft Flex Beading Wire. Specialty beads are from Humblebeads and Golem Design Studio.
