On our previous Kit Day, we celebrated hanami or flower viewing. Hanami is the Japanese tradition of viewing the blooming sakura or cherry blossom. We opened our themed mystery kit - the Cherry Blossom Design Kit (Sold Out) and made jewelry, live on our social media. Today, we are looking back at the finished designs from that kit. We have stunning jewelry from our friends and our community at our VIB Facebook group. Kristen used her supplies to create a radiant pink necklace with a lovely pendant. We watched designers unbox and make jewelry on their YouTube channels - check out the beautiful designs from Janie (The Craft Princess), Misty Moon Designs, and Rosanna Brafford. And finally, see what the members of our VIB Facebook group made with their kits. One fun thing about our kits is the wild variations of possibilities. You might make a pair of earrings, while another designer might opt for a multi-strand necklace with a button for a clasp - it is so much fun seeing how a single set of beading supplies can be turned into so many unique jewelry designs. And every kit is loaded with supplies! You can make a bunch of jewelry for a nice low price!

Our kits are great for skill building. We want our kits to feel challenging. We want them to be accessible for beginners and advanced designers alike, but we love to throw in elements that may seem difficult to test our beaders skills and make them think out of the box. Our kits may be inspired by a colorway or theme, but they are meant to be creative interpretations. Imagination and innovation do not follow the rules. Expect the unexpected.

Celebrate 'hanami' with us! Hanami, or 'flower viewing' is the Japanese tradition of observing the blooming 'sakura' or cherry blossom. Hanami is gathering with friends or loved ones and enjoying food, tea, or companionship under the delicate pink canopy of cherry blossoms. Nature only gives us a sliver of time to view this majestic experience. It is as fleeting and wonderful as life itself. Be in the moment and appreciate this ephemeral gift of beauty. Cherish the arrival of spring and the wonders of nature as we walk beneath the waving petals of the cherry blossom.

We gathered a small assortment of fun designs from our VIB Facebook group. There were so many wonderful ideas and jewelry pieces. You really need to join our group to see them all. A lot of our members also have stores online. If you see a design you love, make sure you let the designer know. They may sell you that design or at least let you know how they made it. We would love to see your work too, join us today!
VIB is a great place to visit. It is an online bead gathering. It is a place to chat and meet new friends. It is a great way to stay social. You can learn a new tip or technique daily. You can get inspired by the gorgeous jewelry designs other people in the community post. You can also get your own jewelry gently critiqued if you want pointers on how to make your designs really stand out. We love wallflowers and chatty designers alike. Lurk or showcase your talent. You are going to love our fun club.
