It's Kit Day tomorrow! Kit Day is a Soft Flex Company holiday. On the last Wednesday of each month, we release a new jewelry making kit full of themed beading supplies. We also unbox our previous kit and make jewelry live on our social media sites. Sara Oehler Designs
Sara showed us how to make a colorful jewelry set with this kit. Far out! Along the way, the subject of tassels came up. Kay Goss showed us how to make gorgeous tassels and Sara was inspired to try making one during the show. Using the string we wrap our kits in, Sara created a quick tassel. She then suggested that our community make their own tassels.

It's the summer of love! We have a groovy collection of beads, man. Go with the flow and feel the vibe. This primo bead kit is sure to inspire and you don't have to spend a lot of bread to look far out. Right on! Be a free thinker and make some mellow jewelry that will blow your mind. Peace & Love Flower Power Beaded Necklace With Apoxie Sculpt Pendant
Kristen Fagan embraced harmony and shared a Peace and Love design. On Monday's episode of Free Spirit Beading, she made a flower power necklace. She added an Apoxie Sculpt pendant she created while watching Christi Friesen’s Spring Fling TGBE presentation.
Live Beading Party with Cynthia Thornton of Green Girl Studios
Cynthia Thornton, of Green Girl Studios, made some beautiful jewelry with our Peace and Love Design Kit! Sara also beaded along and made a beautiful necklace and pair of earrings. Kristen used Colourful Soul Ultimate Paints and painted some Green Girl Studios components.
Live Beading Party with Kay Goss of Star's Beads
Tassels have been hot lately and we got the tassel bug after watching one of Kay's amazing videos. Sara and Kristen sat down with Kay so they could make tassels together. We sent Kay our Peace and Love Design Kit, but it turned out she received our Foxy Lady Design Kit by accident. No worries. Kay used the package twine that wrapped our kit and Sara used the Peace and Love. Together we created a colorful rainbow of tassel fun.
Kristen got extra creative and made a beaded wind charm.
VIB Group Member Videos
We are seeing more and more jewelry making videos from our community. We love it! If you are a creator that works in front of a camera, let us know what you are filming. We gathered a small assortment of fun designs from our VIB Facebook group. There were so many wonderful ideas and jewelry pieces. You really need to join our group to see them all. A lot of our members also have stores online. If you see a design you love, make sure you let the designer know. They may sell you that design or at least let you know how they made it. We would love to see your work too, join us today!
VIB is a great place to visit. It is an online bead gathering. It is a place to chat and meet new friends. It is a great way to stay social. You can learn a new tip or technique daily. You can get inspired by the gorgeous jewelry designs other people in the community post. You can also get your own jewelry gently critiqued if you want pointers on how to make your designs really stand out. We love wallflowers and chatty designers alike. Lurk or showcase your talent. You are going to love our fun club.
