They are a powerful symbol of good luck, mindful living, and industry. Bees are critical cross-pollinators, we owe much of our food production and plant growth to their vital roles. We have so many fun Renewal themed jewelry designs for you today. Renewal is the soft song of nature's rebirth. We celebrated the return of optimism and joy with this wonderful jewelry making kit. Soft Flex jewelry designers Sara Oehler and Kristen Fagan opened their kits and shared their thoughts on the contents. We have a beautiful gallery of talented makers from our VIB community. The real fun of our design kits is that each kit has the same supplies. This blog will show you how unique each creator is, since everybody has the same palette to work with. Lightning races across the summer sky in a magnificent flash. This is the herald that Summer Rain is upon us. Dark clouds, heavy with rain, release a long needed shower. The earth turns damp and wet. Plant oil is diffused into the air, it mingles with ozone and the odor of petrichor intoxicates us. Drops tap our shoulders and mat our hair. The water tickles our skin and invigorates our senses. Summer Rain has arrived and world is vital and whole.

Our kits are great for skill building. We want our kits to feel challenging. We want them to be accessible for beginners and advanced designers alike, but we love to throw in elements that may seem difficult to test our beaders skills and make them think out of the box. We think jewelry is great when it is easy. But when you really have to engage your mind and process your materials and tools, we think that your jewelry has the potential to be life changing.
Our kits may be inspired by a colorway or theme, but they are meant to be creative interpretations. Imagination and innovation do not follow the rules. Expect the unexpected.

We wanted to explore renewal and rebirth. Last year was a time of unprecedented bad news and calamity. We are finally entering a future where the pandemic is no longer roaring like a lion, but mewling like a retreating kitten. Summer has chased the dark winter away and it is time to celebrate. Making jewelry and cherishing the beautiful colors of life is a great way to rejoice. Renewal was a gorgeous kit. We loaded it with earthy tones and neutral colors. You are going to love the classic jewelry you can create with this kit of beading supplies.

The Luna Moth Pendant from TierraCast was a real eyecatcher. It was the cherry on top of a great mix of goodies. It paired so well with the creamy and grassy tones inside the kit. Hello! I am Kim Weatherholt from the bluegrass state of Kentucky - born and raised here. I have always been a very crafty person ever since I was a little girl, but I really got into making jewelry in teenage years. I enjoy making lots of different styles of jewelry but my favorite things to make are definitely girly and chic. I love using flower beads and anything sparkly. I love creating pieces that I would wear myself, but also pieces that would be suitable for all ages and styles. I consider myself a very versatile yet simple beaded and enjoy making beautiful jewelry!

The Soft Flex Renewal Design Kit was such a wonderful selection of supplies to work with for Jami and I. The soothing color palette of soft blues, sage green, cream, bright silver components and of course the Czech bead strands had us thinking of warm Summer nights, with moths gently gliding through a flowering garden. Our first design impulse was to create earrings, and Jami found herself creating two pairs of earrings, and then a bracelet with the Soft Flex Wire, however I found myself drawn to wanting to use the Soft Flex with the TierraCast moth focal to make a necklace. Even after making our projects we still have an amazing amount of supplies left over that we can't wait to use. We can honestly say with each Design Kit we have bought from Soft Flex we continue to love the supplies, enjoying being challenged by the ever changing colors and themes.
