Instructions
Finished Size: 2 1/8"
Step 1: Cut the wire into four 2 1/2" pieces, four 2 3/4" pieces, two
3" pieces, two 4 1/2" pieces, and two 6" pieces. Divide the evenly wires
in half, seven wires per earring.
Step 2: From one pile of wires, set aside the 4 1/2" wire and use the 6" wire to wrap around the center of the remaining five wires for about 3/8". Tuck the wire ends at the back of the wire wrap.
Step 3: Fan out the five wires, with the shortest wires wrapped closest
to the center wrap and the longest wire staying straight. Use the very
tips of the round nose pliers to curl the ends of the wires, leaving the
top of the center wire straight.
Step 4: Use chain nose pliers to continue spiraling the wire ends,
holding the start of each spiral flat between the tips of the pliers.
Use the remaining wire end to
form a wire wrapped loop.
Step 5: Turn the spiral ends up. Use the 4 1/2" wire to string the glass bead to the center of the wire. Place the bead on top of the wrapped wire and use the wire ends to wrap around the wire piece to secure the bead.
Step 6: Repeat Steps 2-5 to make the second earring.
