How To Make A Pendant (Or Earrings) With Colourful Soul Paints & Blank Pop Outs
On Spill the Beads with Joyce Trowbridge, Joyce showed us how to use Wooden Jewelry Pop Outs and Colourful Soul Ultimate Paints to create artistic jewelry designs with blanks and components. Ultimate Paints are permanent to wood and metal and allow you to make one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces that look gorgeous. Embellish a finding with a splash of color or make a masterpiece with a wooden blank! She also demonstrated Gloss Glaze which is great for sealing your color in a lustrous finish.
On the design above, you can see a blank finished with Gloss Glaze on the right. And a blank, with just the paint, on the left. After the paint has dried, you can gently sand or buff the paint to blend or soften the painted look. Ultimate Paints are very forgiving and beginner friendly. Don’t be afraid to try these fun beading supplies. This video will give you the confidence to express yourself with a new design medium!
