How to Wire Wrap Beads Around a Ring Connector to Make Earrings
This week on Free Spirit Beading with Kristen Fagan, I share how to make a pair of beaded wire wrapped earrings. In this tutorial I will show you how to wire wrap beads around a circle jewelry connector with craft wire to make some fun and easy earrings! These would make a great handmade gift!
Supplies:
Soft Flex Craft Wire - 24 Gauge
Soft Flex Craft Wire Silver Plated - 24 Gauge
Rounded Cube Beads
Rectangle Beads
For this jewelry design, I used 4 rounded cube beads, 3 rectangle beads, 20” of 24 gauge Soft Flex Craft Wire in brown (currently on closeout) for each 25mm ring connector. Soft Flex Company offers the TierraCast Hammertone Ring Connectors in three sizes - 8.6mm, 13mm and 25mm.
After the video, I realized I had two cube beads leftover. I decided to create two dangles for the inside of the hoop. I attached the dangle to the bottom of the larger jump ring. I like them both ways, but the dangle is a cute addition.
