In seeking a hue that echoes our innate yearning for closeness and connection, we chose a color radiant with warmth and modern elegance. A shade that resonates with compassion, offers a tactile embrace, and effortlessly bridges the youthful with the timeless.
Just Peachy Earrings With Our Peach Fuzz Inspired Bead Mix
Free Spirit Beading is a show for adventurous and creative spirits. Kristen shows how to work with all kinds of artistic mediums and jewelry. Recently, she showed us how to make earrings with our exclusive Just Peachy Bead Mix from Jesse James Beads. This unique mix, is a delightful combination of peachy pink colors, pops of turquoise and gold.
For these earrings, Kristen used Colourful Soul Wooden Jewelry Pop Outs, which she painted using Colourful Soul Ultimate Paints. She also used Head Pins and 20ga Soft Flex Craft Wire in Vintage Bronze color. And she made her own ear wires out of Soft Flex Craft Wire.
Fun fact: the phrase "that's peachy" has roots that can be traced back to American slang in the mid-20th century. Its origin is likely an extension of the word "peach," which has been used since the 16th century to describe something excellent or desirable.
