We had a fantastic week. We threw beading zoom parties and celebrations. We shared moments with our favorite gal pals and jewelry makers. Make sure you check out our worldwide collaboration with Jesse James Beads and a few of our favorite designers. The Galentine's Day 5 Hour Bead Around the World Event is going to be huge! Today is the big event and we will recap the finished jewelry next week.
On Monday, Kristen showed us how to wire wrap beads and create a linked chain necklace using Soft Flex Craft Wire. The star of the show is the gorgeous pendant she got from Green Girl Studios. This necklace would make a lovely gift for a special friend!
On Wednesday, we had to change plans. Initially, Tracy Proctor from TierraCast, was going to join us for a Chocolate Kiss beading party. we had to reschedule for the 17th of February. Update your calendars - it is going to be amazing! Sara went ahead and had her fun with our design kit. Chocolate Kiss was our themed jewelry kit that celebrated Valentine's Day and the sweet treats we associate with Cupid's favorite holiday! Check out the delicious bracelet Sara made during her demonstration!
Rosanna Brafford and Beki Ward showed us a jewelry tutorial featuring our Chocolate Kiss kit. Marcie Creates is running a jewelry making marathon. Check out the mixed media necklaces she made this week. Brittany Chavers, of Turquoise.Street, showed us how to make Valentine's jewelry with Bead Box Beads and Pink Rhodochrosite color Soft Flex Beading Wire. And finally, Tricia Giazzon, of Tricia’s Pink Poodle Jewelry Studio, showed us how to make Valentine's candy heart earrings with Soft Flex Wire and Jesse James Beads. It was a lovely week for celebrating love!

How To Wire Wrap A Beaded Chain For A Green Girl Studios Pendant
This week on Free Spirit Beading, we got a wire working demonstration from Kristen. She used a 22 gauge Soft Flex Craft Wire to show us how to make interlocking chain pieces by wire wrapping beads. She made a Green Girl Studios pendant the focal of her stunning necklace. This necklace is the perfect complement to the the earrings she made during the Chocolate Kiss Design Kit reveal.
