Beading Supplies
No matter what type of beading, stitching or bead work you are doing, you will need a few basic supplies. Here is an overview of some of the things you need to get started or to keep at it if you are interested in beading:
- Plastic Trays
As you probably know, beads can roll across surfaces and end up in every nook and cranny in your house. Bead supply stores sell little plastic trays that you can use to put your beads in while you are working. This will help you stay organized and make sure you have everything you need in your working space without having to hunt for the type of bead you need while you are working.
- Wire
You will need a variety of wires for your craft project. Soft Flex offers everything from 18 gauge craft wire up to 29 gauge craft wire. Rounded wires are the most commonly used type of wire for beading.
