Soft Flex Extreme Wire is the world's first eco-friendly beading wire.
Soft Flex Extreme Wire is a beading wire, free of heavy metals, for designers that want to add sparkle and shine to a piece that exposes the wire. Soft Flex Extreme Wire will not tarnish and is great for free floating necklaces and pendants. Soft Flex Extreme Wire is constructed of 1x19 micro woven metal alloy wires. It is supple enough that it can be knotted and comes in 3 radiant colors. It is available in 2 diameters: .014 and .019. We recommend Soft Flex Extreme Wire for designers that want to be 'green' and desire a high quality wire for high end jewelry.
Note: Currently, .019 Medium Champagne colored beading wire is the only wire available in our Extreme line of Soft Flex. .019 Medium Silver Plated Extreme Beading Wire is due to arrive in Fall 2022. We are not currently manufacturing this product in any other size or color based on high raw material costs. When raw materials come down in price, particularly in 24k Gold, we will consider manufacturing a fresh batch of wire. In the meantime, we suggest that you check out our Champagne colored beading wire as an alternative for 24k Gold. Champagne is a very pretty color that can work with gold, silver or copper findings.
Basic Usage:
.010 Very Fine - Ideal for embellishing, weaving, crocheting and stringing very small beads. We suggest finishing with 1x1mm crimps.
.014 Fine - Ideal for soft materials, seed beads and fresh water pearls. We suggest finishing with 2x2mm crimps.
.019 Medium - Ideal all purpose wire. Great with glass, mineral, and metal beads. We suggest finishing with 2x2mm crimps.
.024 Heavy - Ideal for abrasive materials, large stones, lamp work and bracelets. We suggest finishing with 2x3mm crimps.
Recycle us! Our empty spools can be repurposed as bead trays. Before stringing your next design, place your beads into an upside down spool. They are perfect for containing your beads for each project. Or, tear off the label and toss your unwanted spools in a recycle bin. All stainless steel used in the construction of Soft Flex products is 100% recyclable. Our nylon coating is derived from renewable resources and can be recycled. Think green!

Extreme Flex Beading Wire
The Extreme Flex Wire is superb quality!! The 24K gold Extreme shimmers through transparent clear gems and crystals. The Champagne pairs beautifully with rose gold works. I hope Soft Flex Company decides to produce this great product again. It is far more attractive than other silver, gold and copper plated wires.

Extreme Flex Beading Wire
The best bead stringing product on the market! I use all three colors in both Medium and Fine. The wire knots perfectly every time. I know my finished jewelry product will last for a very long time without having to re-string. Really wish Gold, Silver, and Champagne were available in both Medium and Fine all the time!

Soft flex beading wire
I was given a spool of the sterling silver bead wire, both fine and medium and love them! I have ordered more twice. I use sterling and gemstones and the beads lay so nicely and the wire is flexible and lasts without getting brittle or leaving black or plastic coating on the strands
