Beading Party With Rebecca Combs Of Design & Adorn: Basilica Necklace Kit

Sara Oehler had a beading party with Rebecca Combs of Design & Adorn. Rebecca shared her Basilica Necklace Kit with us and showed us how to make this beautiful necklace on a kumihimo disk.

The Basilica necklace features stunning 8mm Czech glass cathedral beads flanked by two kumihimo beaded ropes capped with exquisitely detailed TierraCast findings. A clever braiding technique turns the kumihimo portions into beaded beads and the entire piece is strung on Soft Flex Beading Wire and uses Soft Flex Crimp Tubes.

The Basilica Necklace Kit comes in several different color options.

"I used a gemstone donut bead as a connector in the center with the green seed bead color in the Vintage Christmas Seed Bead Trio. Soft Flex Beading Wire is like the needle, so it is a pretty quick one to make. I think it would make a great Holiday Gift!"
