DIY Decorated Metal Dragon Beaded Bookmark From Book Lovers Kit

This week on Free Spirit Beading with Kristen Fagan, I decorated the metal dragon bookmark, a unique piece from our Book Lovers Beading Design Kit (sold out). The intricate dragon design, paired with the delicate beadwork, makes it a stunning and functional piece for your dragon's hoard of books!

I used Colouful Soul Ultimate Paints in Lapis, Garnet, Ochre and Amethyst colors to paint the metal dragon bookmark. Then I used beads from the Book Lovers Bead Mix (sold out) and strung them on .019 Soft Flex Beading Wire in Purple Amethyst color. I adorned the tiny book from the Book Lovers Kit and added it to the bottom of the strung beads.

This bookmark is perfect for those who appreciate the art of beading and have a soft spot for fantasy elements. It makes it a wonderful addition to any book lover's collection.
