Live Beading Party With Rebecca Combs Of Design & Adorn: Eclipse Necklace Kit

Sara had a beading party with Rebecca Ann Combs of Design & Adorn. Rebecca showed how to make her Eclipse Lariat Kumihimo Necklace using the Eclipse Kit available at Design & Adorn. Eclipse is a luxuriously long beaded kumihimo lariat necklace with a peyote stitch adjustable slider, coordinating peyote stitch endcap cover, and tassels featuring Unicorne marble beads!

Eclipse features a sophisticated two color ombré with metallic seed bead accents to coordinate with the cones. The kit instructions include stringing charts for three lengths (approximately 33", 37", or 41" end to end) and the placement of the peyote stitch slider is adjustable so you can further customize your necklace to suit the neckline of your outfit. The Eclipse Kumihimo Lariat Kit features .019 Soft Flex Beading Wire and a set of ten hand-made lampwork focal beads by Unicorne Beads of California. Each focal bead set includes four small beads (12mm), four medium beads (15mm), and two large beads (18mm). Each focal bead is a tiny work of art and each bead is unique. Rebecca sorted through all the beads to make sure that the large beads in each kit match each other as closely as possible.

Rebecca has been invited to exhibit her work at the Museum of Beadwork in Portland, Maine from April 5 to September 8, 2024. Rebecca loves the Eclipse Lariat Kumihimo Necklace so much that she included it in the collection!
