Mixed Metals Bracelet

Instructions

Finished Size 7"

Step 1: Cut each color of wire into nine 10" pieces.

Step 2: Use all nine strands of the gold wire to string 1 crimp tube and the first loop of one half of the clasp. Pass back through the tube and crimp.  Click here for crimping instructions.

Step 3: Divide the wire into three groups of three strands each. Braid the wires for about 6 3/4 inches and place a Bead Stopper on wires at the end of the braid to keep it from unraveling.

Step 4: Use all nine strands to string 1 crimp tube and the first loop of the other half of the clasp. Pass back through the tube and slide the tube so that it is right next to the Bead Stopper. Remove the Bead Stopper and adjust the tube, if necessary. Crimp the tube and trim the tail wires.

Step 5: Repeat Steps 2-4 using silver wire and the middle loops of the clasp.

Step 6: Repeat Steps 2-4 using champagne wire and the last loops of the clasp.

Instructions

Step 1: Cut three 2 3/4" 24K Gold Plated wires. Use all three wires to string the bottom hole of 1 daisy connector and one 2x2mm crimp tube. Place the tube at the very end of the wires and crimp using Crimping Pliers.  Click here for crimping instructions. Use the other ends of the wires to string 1 flower connector and one 2x2mm crimp tube. Place the tube at the very end of the wires and crimp.

Step 2: Repeat Step 1 using three 2 1/2" 925 Sterling Silver Plated wires and the middle holes of the connectors.

Step 3: Repeat Step 1 using three 2 1/4" Champagne wires and the top holes of the connectors.

Step 4: Cut three 2 3/8" wires: one 24K Gold Plated wire, one 925 Sterling Silver Plated wire, and one Champagne wire. Use all three wires to string the bottom hole of the other half of the flower connectors used in Step 1. String one 2x2mm crimp tube. Place the tube at the very end of the wires and crimp. Use the other ends of the wires to string 1 daisy connector and one 2x2mm crimp tube. Place the tube at the very end of the wires and crimp.

Step 5: Repeat Step 4 using 2 1/4" wires and the middle holes of the connectors.

Step 6: Repeat Step 4 using 2 1/8" wires and the top holes of the connectors.

Step 7: Cut three 2 3/8" 24K Gold Plated wires. Use all three wires to string the bottom hole of the other half of the daisy connector used in Step 4. String one 2x2mm crimp tube. Place the tube at the very end of the wires and crimp. Use the other ends of the wires to string 1 flower connector and one 2x2mm crimp tube. Place the tube at the very end of the wires and crimp.

Step 8: Repeat Step 7 using three 2 1/4" 925 Sterling Silver Plated wires and the middle holes of the connectors.

Step 9: Repeat Step 7 using three 2 1/8" Champagne wires and the top holes of the connectors.

Step 10: Cut three 2" 24K Gold Plated wires, three 2" 925 Sterling Silver Plated wires, two 2" Champagne wires, and one 4" Champagne wire.

Step 11: Use one wire of each color (no matter the length) to string the bottom home of the other half of the flower connector used in Step 7. String one 2x2mm crimp tube. Place the tube at the very ends of the wires and crimp. Repeat for the other two holes of the connector. Gather all nine wires together and use them to string one 3x3mm crimp tube. Place the tube at the very ends of the 2" wires and crimp using Mighty Crimping Pliers. Cover the tube with a crimp cover. Use the 4" wire to string one 2x2mm crimp tube and one half of the clasp. Pass back through the tube, crimp, and cover with a crimp cover.

Step 12: Repeat Steps 1 to 11 for the other half of the necklace. When repeating Step 1, be sure to use the same daisy connector initially used in Step 1.

Instructions

Step 1: Use 7 inches of wire to string 1 crimp tube, 1 quartz crystal round bead, and 1 ear wire. Pass back through the round bead and the crimp tube, but do not crimp.

Step 2: Use the other end of the wire to string 1 quartz crystal round bead, 1 silver round bead, 1 quartz crystal teardrop, and 1 silver round bead. Pass back through the round bead and the crimp tube.  Click here for crimping instructions.

Step 3: Adjust the wires so that there is a small loop of wire on the top of the earring and a larger loop of wire on the bottom. Crimp the crimp tube and cover the tube with a crimp cover.

Step 4: Repeat Steps 1-4 to make a second earring.

Step 1: Cut the .019 diameter wire into two 24” pieces and the .014 diameter wire into three 24” pieces.

Step 2: Use all six strands of wire to string 1 crimp tube and the ring half of the clasp. Pass back through the tube and crimp.  Click here for crimping instructions.

Step 3: Use the .024 diameter wire to string all ten charms. Attach a Bead Stopper to the end of the wire.

Step 4: Tape the ring half of the clasp to your work surface. Separate the wires into three groups, based on wire diameter.

Step 5: Braid the three groups of wire for about 2". Slide 1 charm up to the base of the braid. Braid the three groups of wire for about 1". Slide 1 charm up to the base of the braid.

Step 6: Repeat Step 5 four times.

Step 7: Braid the three groups of wire for about 2 1/2". Place a Bead Stopper on the braid about 1/4" from the end of the braid.

Step 8: Use all six wires to string 1 crimp tube and the bar half of the clasp. Slide the tube so that it is right at the side of the Bead Stopper. Pass all the wires back through the tube. Remove the Bead Stopper and adjust the tube if necessary. Crimp the tube and trim excess wire.
