We love Kit Day! If you are unfamiliar, it is a Soft Flex Company holiday. On the last Wednesday of every month, we release a new beading design challenge kit. We unbox our previous kit. And we watch as our community and friends post their finished jewelry from the previous kit in our VIB Facebook group. It is a day that is infused with creativity and inspiration. This week, we watched Kay Goss enjoy some Christmas crafting with friends. She also showed us how to make a cute pair of Christmas earrings. Make-A-Wish Beading Design Challenge Kit, Inspiration for Jewelry Makers of All Levels

Make-A-Wish began with a child's dream. Chris Greicius, a seven year old boy with leukemia, wished that he would one day be a police officer. He was a superhero that wanted to nab the bad guys. As Chris was losing his battle with his grave disease, officers in the Arizona Department of Public Safety took it upon themselves to help this child realize his dream. Chris was sworn in as an Arizona DPS officer. He was then given a chance to ride along in helicopters and police cars. His beautiful wish was granted and Chris lost his fight, just two days later.
We wanted to dedicate our latest kit to a foundation that gives critically ill children a chance to live their dreams. This foundation grants an impactful wish to a deserving little one. Let's support this wonderful organization! Proceeds from your purchase will be donated. You can also consider volunteering or donating on their site.

We think jewelry is great when it is easy. But when you really have to engage your mind and process your materials and tools, we think that your jewelry has the potential to be life changing.

Nutcracker Jewelry Making Kit Reveal
The fireplace is crackling with warmth and light. Snow is dancing in lazy sheets outside. Brother and sister sit in front of the television.
