We threw a beading party this week for all of our little mermaid friends. Take a dive and make jewelry with us!

Rachel Siegel, from Sam's Bead Shop, joined her and the two made jewelry with Sam's Bead Box from May (Waltz of the Flowers theme).
We had a blast celebrating jewelry with Jesse James Beads. Our latest collaboration was the Mermaid Maker Party. JJB and Soft Flex love to team up for fun! We have had pool parties, Halloween trick or treat events, and magical Harry Potter shindigs. You can find the finished jewelry on next week's recap.

How To Make A Rainbow Beaded Suncatcher With Soft Flex Craft Wire
Handmade suncatchers are a great craft for summer! Our favorite Free Spirit Beading artist has been decorating her house with these lovely ornaments and wanted to share. Kristen has been using Soft Flex Craft Wire, a mix of leftover beads from our mystery design kits, and a WigJig jig board to create these stunning adornments. Check out her video for inspiration. You can use a bead soup to make your own. You can wire wrap the design by hand or use a jig. There are no rules and every design is a one of a kind! This project is perfect for involving children or crafty friends for an afternoon get together.
