This week was so exciting. Recently we have learned new ways to work with our wire that we never thought possible: beadweaving, making jewelry on a loom, and more! Kristen started things off with a bracelet project. She used the herringbone stitch technique Danielle Wickes taught us. Kristen's design used our Rola beads and Soft Touch Beading Wire. On Wednesday, we visited Cassandra Spicer, from Beads To Live By. We checked out Cassandra's new Curated Collections and made jewelry with her seed beads. Don't miss this fun beading party!
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This disease does not spare anybody. Many of us have lost people very dear to us. Our kit this month is the Pink Warrior Support Squad Design Kit. Proceeds from this kit will go to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. We think it is a great charity and we hope that research will find an end to this awful cancer. This week, we watched Jewel Loom designer Tricia Giazzon design a Pink Warrior Bracelet. Design your own and spread awareness!
